Gift Aid Year End
We’re approaching the time when the church has to submit this year’s claim for Gift Aid. Gift Aid brings in a substantial amount of money for the church by letting us reclaim the income tax on people’s giving.
If you’re eligible for Gift Aid (generally this means paying Income Tax) but haven’t yet filled in a form, or have changed your name or address since completing a form, please contact us.
Please see the News Sheet for more details.
Community Tree of Loss
We’d like to invite you to join us in naming and sharing in our losses during the pandemic, by creating a Community Tree of Loss window display in the church porch from Saturday 20th to Sunday 28th March.
You can read about how to join in by making one or more leaves to add to the tree here in the News Sheet, or in our Community Tree of Loss article which also includes a template you might like to use.
Dial A Sermon
Read about the new Dial A Sermon service being offered by the York Circuit, which lets you hear a sermon by dialling a York phone number. The hope is that this will be useful to anyone unable to use Zoom to join in with our services.
You can find details about this in the News Sheet, or in our Dial A Sermon article.
