Our Scarecrow Workshop is being held at 7pm on Tuesday 29th March in the Hall. If you, or any of your friends or neighbours, are thinking of making a scarecrow and want some inspiration, tips or advice come along!
It's free, children are welcome with an adult, and refreshments will be available.
In the News Sheet this week we have a summary of the services coming up over Easter to help you plan. This includes our Tenebrae Service on Good Friday. Not sure what that is? See our blog post What is… a ‘Tenebrae’ Service? for a description.
Gift Aid: Time to Check Your Details
With the end of the Tax Year approaching, Marianna asks anyone who gives with Gift Aid to check whether any of their details have changed and let her know.
Gift Aid lets the church claim back tax you’ve already paid on your giving, thereby increasing the amount by 25% at no extra cost to yourself. If you’d like to know more about Gift Aid, please see our blog post about it: Giving With Gift Aid.
Scarecrow Festival: Registrations Are Open!
Registrations are now open for this year’s Scarecrow Festival. To register your Scarecrow, go to our Scarecrows page: www.hwmc.org.uk/scarecrows (Closing date is 10th April.)
Would you like a poster of your own to put up at home or in your garden? You’re in luck! You can download a copy from the Scarecrows page on our website to print out and display. (A final poster advertising the Festival will be available after the closing date.)
