Christian Aid Week is on the way!

This year Christian Aid Week is from the 10th to 16th May. However, we have lots of local events and activities going on all through May! For example,

  • A Quiztian Aid quiz

  • Run to the Philippines!

  • 300,000 Steps in May Challenge

  • and more

You can find details of these, and also of the Churches Together ecumenical Christian Aid Service being held at St. Mary’s Church, in the News Sheet and in our special article on Christian Aid Week.

Prayer Walk #6: Thy Kingdom Come

A new Prayer Walk is available, linking in with Thy Kingdom Come: a global wave of prayer that’s happening between Ascension and Pentecost (13th–23rd May 2021).

You can find details, and how to join in, in our Prayer Walk #6: Thy Kingdom Come article.

Sunday Afternoons at the Church

We’re delighted to say that the church building will start opening between 5pm and 6pm on Sundays from 9th May, initially for quiet reflection and prayer but later to include a short service.

The numbers allowed remain limited, though we are able to re-use seating during the hour after someone leaves and we’ve cleaned the chair.

Please see our Sunday Afternoons at the Church article for details on how this will work.

Aroma is Reopening Soon!

Aroma is planning to reopen very soon and the staff and volunteers are looking forward to welcoming everyone back. You can find more details in our news article Aroma is Reopening Soon.
