Easter is about hope and rejoicing. It reminds us of how much God loves us, and how His love endures forever. Easter is our opportunity to share that love with others.
From Bev, at St. Mary’s…
Like last March, we are planning an Easter Garden on the front lawn at St. Mary’s — with lots of spring flowers for colour and seasonal links: showing God's love.
We’d love you to join in, by making homemade hearts to display across the lawn. These should be made from any recycled or re-purposed material, which must be weatherproof, and attached to a lolly stick.
Hearts can be filled with messages of love or left blank with only God knowing the purpose in your heart. All hearts received will form a key point of the Easter Garden display on St Mary’s front lawn.
Please leave your contributions in the box at the entrance to the single gate from 21st March onwards.
On Saturday 3rd April, perhaps come along to see the display and bring a flower or two to add to it?
Why not join in? It would be wonderful to make this display as beautiful and memorable as the Poppy Wall was for Remembrance Sunday last year!
May your Easter season be filled with love (and chocolate!).
