Scarecrow Festival
The Scarecrow Festival takes place over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, bringing together the two local communities of Haxby and Wigginton. Everyone is invited to make and display scarecrows of their own design.
Scarecrow Trail Maps are produced and sold to raise funds for pre-selected charities. Local businesses support the Festival by donating groceries for refreshments we serve, and prizes for the winning scarecrows.
