Support and Activities in the Community
Aroma Coffee Shop
A community coffee shop in the heart of Haxby, Aroma offers a warm welcome to all.
Church Breakfasts
Church breakfasts take place once a month, usually on the first Sunday of the month.
Flying Ducks Theatre
Flying Ducks Theatre produce an annual pantomime of five performances during the February half-term.
Monday Fellowship
The Monday Fellowship group meets fortnightly on a Monday afternoon from 2:30pm to 3:30pm and is followed by refreshments in the hall.
Stitch Together
Stitch Together meet on the first Saturday of each month, between 10:00am and 12:00 noon, to knit, sew, or craft gifts for others.
Baptisms and Thanksgivings
Often the first contact a family will have with the church is through a baptism or thanksgiving service.
Forty Plus Group
A busy group that supports all aspects of church life. We meet on the first Sunday of every month at 7:30pm.
Oasis
A time to be with God, to be stimulated, to reflect, or just ‘be’ in the peace and calm of the sanctuary.
Sunday Afternoons at Aroma
On the second Sunday of the month, Sunday Afternoons at Aroma is a place to meet friends, and make new ones.
Dementia Carers' Support
The Dementia Carers Support Group meets six times a year in Aroma at 7:30pm, usually on the third Tuesday of every other month.
House Groups
House Groups play an important role in the life of our church family. We have a number of groups located in different parts of Haxby and Wigginton.
Scarecrow Festival
The Scarecrow Festival takes place over the Early May Bank Holiday weekend.
Sunday at Eight
Sunday at Eight is a group who meet on the second Sunday of the month at 8:00pm.
