News Update

Great news! The Community Garden is good to go!

Thank you so much to all who supported our Community Garden Coffee Morning fundraiser a few weeks back. We have excellent news: the NHS have found a pot of money to really give a kickstart to the garden!

There will be diggers going in the week beginning 11th March, to create accessible paths. This will really start to give the garden a structure. We will also be getting raised beds of differing heights with some to be made accessible for wheelchairs. There will also be some raised beds to build and hedges to plant.

If you want to help get stuck in, perhaps on Friday 15th March, then Jackie Thompson is the person to get in touch with, at the email address:

We could do with some tools to borrow — drills and spades — preferably with you attached to the end of them 😁. There will be cake and coffee!

Many thanks,

The Whole Life Community Garden Team
